Participant 2010: Minot Morgan

Minot Morgan

Minot Morgan was born in Princeton, New Jersey on February 10, 1942. He graduated from Central Texas College. He served a 20 year career in the United States Army as a logistician, with overseas assignments in Korea, Germany and England. He spent a total of six years with the Transportation Division, G-4, Headquarters, Berlin Brigade, working in the Division Headquarters and later, the Rail Transportation Office (RTO). He was an instructor at the U.S. Army Transportation School at Fort Eustis, Virginia, and served two years as an exchange officer with the British Ministry of Defense teaching logistics at the British Royal Corp of Transport. He was a former vice president, German Chapter, National Defense Transportation Association and is a current member of the Berlin U.S Military Veterans Association. Following his military career, he served as a Traffic Manager at the Military Traffic Management Command, Bayonne, NJ. He was the Head of the Material Division at the Naval Air Propulsion Center, Trenton, NJ, from 1984 to 1998. He has been retired since 1998 and resides in Pennington, New Jersey with his wife, Babette, whom he met at the 1966 Berlin German-American Volksfest. He has one daughter and two grandsons.
